Directions

Preheat oven to 400oF

Gently scrub potato to remove dirt and loose skin; prick potato several times with a fork

Place the potato in oven for 50-60 minutes or until cooked through.

Remove from oven and make a lengthwise slit on the top of the potato and squeeze gently to open.

Place butter on top of potato and season with salt & pepper.

Chef Tip:

• Serve baked potatoes with sour cream, bacon, green onions and your favourite cheese. • Baked potatoes are simple to prepare and this recipe can easily be prepared for as many people as needed. They are a great base for many other recipes such as gnocchi or hash browns.
